Hamad International Airport (DOH), the World’s Best Airport and the gateway to the State of Qatar, witnessed a surge in passenger traffic in 2022, with a year-on-year increase of 101%, welcoming more than 35 million passengers.

A total of 2.3 million tons of cargo was handled at Hamad International Airport in 2022. Wizz air is the newest cargo airline partner to operate at DOH.

Aircraft movement grew by 28.2%, with 217,875 total aircraft take-offs and landings at DOH.

44 scheduled airlines operated in 2022 and the airport connected to over 170 destinations worldwide. The busiest departing destinations in 2022 were London, Bangkok, Manila, Columbo and Dhaka.

DOH is an IATA Level 2 airport with available capacity to accommodate new airlines and additional frequencies.
